What “certified” means on your order
GOTS and OCS certificates belong to the mill, not to the fabric or to us. A certified mill can sell certified goods, and each shipment needs a transaction certificate (TC) issued by the mill’s certification body. Without a TC, the fabric cannot be sold as GOTS further down the chain.
Before you pay the balance, we send the mill’s scope certificate and the TC for your lot, and you can check the mill on the public GOTS and Textile Exchange databases. If you need extra proof, we can send a sample to an accredited lab for a fibre-composition test.
In the EU, generic claims such as “eco-friendly” or “sustainable” are banned since 27 September 2026 unless backed by certification. Use the certificate name and number on your product, and you stay inside the rules.

Frequently asked questions
Buy it with a transaction certificate. A TC is issued per shipment by the certification body and links your exact lot to a certified supply chain. We send the mill’s scope certificate and your TC before the balance payment.
GOTS covers the whole processing chain, including environmental and social criteria for dyeing and finishing. OCS only verifies the organic fibre content. GOTS is the stronger claim for finished fabric.

200 kg per fabric, the same as conventional cotton. Some certified mills ask more for custom colours; we confirm it in the quote.
