Is a lab test report the same as a certificate?

A lab report proves what your specific lot contains. It does not make the fabric GOTS- or OEKO-TEX-certified: those certificates belong to the mill and cover its process. When you need a certification claim, we source from a certified mill and send its certificate; when you need proof about the lot itself, we add a lab report.

From 10 October 2026 the EU limits PFHxA (a PFAS used in water-repellent finishes) in consumer clothing. If your fabric has a repellent finish, ask for a PFAS test.

Independent textile testing labs in Tirupur accredited by NABL to ISO/IEC 17025, the international standard for testing laboratories, including the Government of India’s Textiles Committee laboratory.

No. A test report describes one lot. GOTS and OEKO-TEX certificates belong to the mill, so for certified fabric we source from a certified mill and send its certificate.

Usually 3–5 working days after the lab receives the sample, longer for chemical tests. We schedule it so the report is ready before shipment.
